I saw "The Kids Are All Right" over the weekend, and man... is that movie long! I mean, it's less than two hours, but it seemed to go on forever. It had some good dialogue (which I sampled some in this comic), but it didn't seem like a Best Picture type of picture to me.

Anyway, enjoy Single Awareness Day everybody (also known as Valentine's Day). Make all those poor, single people out there feel more miserable than they already do. Make sure none of those tortured souls go see a movie by themselves without you mocking their desolation. After all, being single is their own damn fault.

Something I've noticed since getting married is that I cared far more about Sad Bastard Day when I was single, specifically in hatred of people who weren't. My theory is that most couples also don't care much about Valentine's either, and the only people who really make a big deal are the newly-formed cutesy assholes or the high-maintenance princesses who make how far backwards their boyfriends can bend themselves to make them happy for two seconds a treatise on how much he thinks she's better looking than all of her skanky friends.

So I say to single people everywhere, if you see couples being cutesy and assholic this Feb 14th, beat them to death with a brick in the shape of a heart.

EDIT: Haven't seen the movie.

Gibson, your ability to shrewdly judge what is certainly a conspiracy between candy companies and Hallmark is an inspiration to us all.

I've not even heard of The Kids Are All Right, it just reminds me of the theme song for That 70's Show.
